Boone Chamber of Commerce- With more than 900 members, the Boone Chamber is a valuable local partner whose members generously donate time and provide “real world” internships and other experiences for ASU students.

Blue Ridge Entrepreneurial Council (BREC)- Regional entrepreneurs gain access to resources throughout western North Carolina through this nurturing organization based in Asheville. BREC frequently brings entrepreneurship education programs to the High Country.

North Carolina Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) – This organization provides management counseling and educational services to small and mid-sized businesses throughout North Carolina from our 17 offices across the state — each affiliated with a college or university. Students and faculty are frequently engaged with SBTDC clients through course projects, internships and other activities.

Consortium for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises and Entrepreneurship Education (SMEEE) – This consortium of six universities in Europe and the U.S. supports student and faculty exchanges and course development in the area of entrepreneurship. Our partner schools include Clemson University, the University of North Florida, the Universitè Catholique de Louvain (Belgium), the University of Alicante (Spain) and the University of Bamberg (Germany).

Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences – Walker College of Business faculty members frequently teach short session entrepreneurship courses at this university in western Austria. ASU students can enroll in business classes taught in English there each fall semester.

National Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (NCEC) – ASU’s Center for Entrepreneurship is a member of this organization which provides a coordinated vehicle through which we can collaborate and communicate on the specific issues and challenges confronting university-based entrepreneurship centers.
